I don't know if I told you this, but I've been learning Indonesian for a few months. Something to add to this:
Selamat Seyung = good afternoon, selamat malam = goodnight.
Apa Kabar actually means "what's up?" but has intonations of how are you.
Permisi is used like saying excuse me, but to actually say sorry, you say "ma-off", the dash indicating a glottal stop in your throat. I just wanted to clarify the glottal stop.
If you ever want something, you can always say "Saya mao _____ (whatever you wanted)" but, Indonesians prefer to be very polite, so it's always better to say "Bolay saya mintah ____" meaning may I please have, or for my benefit.
