The Katalysts of Canada Are Looking For New Team Members!

Aftershock here, just wanting to let everyone know that my team The Katalysts are looking for more members to help our community and join our cause! The more the merrier :-) So if you're in Canada or Ontario please come let me know!

You know what's kind of depressing though, I've posted and reposted our Kijiji add about 8 or 9 times now. Each time I post it, the add gets anywhere from 70 to 90 even once was 198 views or was that 298? Anyways, all these citizens take a look at the add, see we're out there to help people and whatnot but no replies. Not even one single internet troll! Makes me sad lol...

Well you'll get some replies here.

Not a lot of people in Canada yet but if anyone else is, I'd say it's worth looking in to. Aftershock seems like a really cool guy.

KATALYSTS OF ONTARIO / JCO: JUSTICE CREW OF OSHAWA UPDATE:

We've recently had two new members join our local ranks. Brightwing a female RLSH who's uniform is that of an arctic snow owl, and Nameless Crusader who is black clad and stealth based in uniform.

We've been patrolling weekly as of late and have been getting some good inflow of pics and short videos. I recently had a drug dealer in Memorial Park arrested. He asked me if I was "looking to score some tree?" which is code for Pot / Marijuana (which is still illegal in Canada). I asked him "You're not selling drugs in this park are you?" in which he replied casually "Yeah, but I'm just passing through". I was almost floored at the non chalentness at which he stated this. So I walked around the block and returned across the road 45 mins later. The suspect was STILL there dealing so I called it in to dispatch. Cruisers came in 10 mins and arrested him.

Last update for this post is that my local team (the JCO: Justice Crew of Oshawa) will be attending the Stand By Me: Epilepsy Support Event in Bowmanville Ontario at the Garnet B. Rickard Complex. We'll be talking with the afflicted, swapping stories, and trying to raise some spirits!!! The event will be photographed and videotapes by the promoters and our team. The pictures we appear in their scrapbook and will go on for years to come in support of the cause and stand up for all those with said ailment.

As for weed, I don't think it's too bad, since it has a lot of medical advantages to it. Crack and stuff like that I think seems more harmful to society.

If it appears that an RLSH's job is to protect and defend the law, then it makes us no different than cops, only difference in attire, and who they work for.

Well I'm straight edge my friend. Anything that alters your perception of reality is never a good thing in my books. Especially while on patrol.

Do you mean for people on patrol? If so, I wouldn't think it would help them, but I can't speak for everyone though.

I have heard some scientific evidence that it can increase a person's IQ and creativity and also slows and/or prevents the growth of cancer. As long as it's used carefully.

I've heard some weird reasons about why it was made illegal - in the U.S., at least. But I'm not going to say it on here, because, well, I think you must've called me a racist like 6 times tonight, and 5 of those times were for talking about your red hair. So I'm not going to give you the opportunity for a 7th time.

(FOR the record, I'm not racist - that 6th time was in relevance to a photo about Jet Black & Other Guy from Blankman that Jet Black thought was funny - Aftershock commented on that on my Facebook Like Page)

Lol. I'm totally joking about the racist thing. I get called racist all the time. So it's more out of irony that I play that card. Don't take me seriously by any means on that. Sorry if it got annoying. My apologies!

It was funny, considering I'm one of the most un-racist people too. That's why I added that.

So we're going on patrol tonight around 9pm or 9:30pm. May have one of my buddies be our camera man for the night too. Hopefully we'll get some nice pics out of the deal. Maybe slowely convince said buddy to join the cause lol.

So the patrol went okay. Was a really long walk for me, my bad leg is kinda sore still today but should be good by tomorrow. No physical altercations, no need to call the police, only some creepy streets and some enthusiastic citizens lol.

On a random note I can't wait to get this for Christmas so I don't feel so vulnerable.

Well just very dark, poorly lit, lots of strange rustling noises, low traffic. Then there's always that uneasy feeling that someone is watching and/ or following you. Lol. I call it the "Midnight Jitters". Haha.
