I know Lord Chain. Awesome guy.

Just finished the video right now. Two balanced approaches from wise voices that don't necessarily contradict each other but rather advice that are complementary to each other.

I know of him. Never talked to him from what I remember.

Lord Chain comes around here every once in a while. Very wise, level headed, and also honest but friendly.

And the other guy named Ten - I met him in Kansas City on the Heroes Network Mission in 2009. Very interesting guy, he not only has a really entertaining personality, but he REALLY knew his stuff VERY well.

Ten is the guy in the brown hoody.

that's very honoring. i still have this video but had taken it down to revamp it since i felt the rlsh community had grown since this. that's awesome though that the extreme justice league felt it was good info to repost it.

Yes. That was pretty cool that they kept it up so that you and your message could continue to be heard.

That's what I was thinking.

Because, not knowing you, watching the video gave me the impression of wise sensible words, but lousy (and slightly cheesy) presented. No offense meant.

I'd love to see the more experienced RLSH work together with more experienced video people, in order to create better presentations of the RLSH. In these times, where the community has grown to the size it has, the good RLSH has to make positive presentations that shouts louder than the negative childish immature arrogant drama things that goes on elsewhere in the community.

The more professional-looking presentations you can create, the more positive an impression of your own camp you'll give the public. It may even remove peoples attention from the negative-childish-immature-arrogant-drama camp(s), and that would be a good thing in my opinion.

The version we saw looked like it was copied from someone else's camera while they were watching the video online.

And also C- Dark Ghost and I were talking about possibly making some more videos for the Heroes Network some time.

That sounds great Tothian. Looking forward to follow the progress with that project.

Back when I first learned there was such a thing as a RLSH community, there was one video I watched over and over again. This one:

Great music, great pictures, great artwork, great quotes, great overall message, and the quality of it all is awesome. The spinning logo made it look like the RLSH were united, and that gave me a very good impression. I loved that. That video is just so awesome.

And I don't think it requires a whole lot to make videos in an equal quality. Even cellphones can give you a good picture quality nowadays. All that's left is to hold it steady / put it in a tripod, and make sure you record the audio from a much better microphone. That's about it.
You can fiddle with the lighting if you wish, but a lot of such "effects" can probably be added later in the editor.
And when you're editing, don't use too many of those special effects.

It's important to use legal music, especially these times where certain people in the community wouldn't hesitate reporting your video if you used copyrighted music. So find a musician who can create music, and buy the rights to use it. There are lots of music libraries online.

It might not be a bad idea to hire a musician to create an audio logo for Heroes Network. A few recognizable tones that can be used in a melody in various versions. The Sector does have a musician among its members, who may be willing to come up with a suggestion. But the videos will have to be high quality before he'll bother. Otherwise I know there are other musicians too in the community.
