| Lynx,
I think the way SpotCrime works, is that the people who run the website add the content there, based on what they see either in the news or by reading the reports that the police make. | |

| Newspapers are also good sources, along with the TV news and Internet. |

| I myself when planning a mission, perfer to go over it again & again,so if I was gonna use TV as a reference I would have to tape it. |

| Yes, that, and if you wrote down what the TV people said, it wouldn't take too much paper at all, it's mainly the video that's the plus side of it. It's good to have a balance. |

| And it's always good to keep a mental note of these reports. Patterns will begin to form in your minds, and also talking with people in the area you patrol is also helpful too. You can talk with them about the crime that goes on there, especially stuff you've heard about in the news, and see what they can tell you about that. | |

| Get to know the place you are patroling I cover the whole down town area of Iqaluit and some of the up town parts too for both patroling and snow clearing I know where I can go to get somewhere in a hurry if say I was up town and I looked down the hill to see a child being picked on by another person or about to get hit by a car comming around the bend in the road I also know where I can get to planned escape routes if I ever had to because my own life was in danger
and I know where I can bring the kids to be away from that danger I know the quickest route home in the event of an incomming storm or blizzard and where I can duck inside if I cant get home ahead of the storm |

And HEY! That's MY outfit minus the mask and color scheme! Haha XD (If you haven't made your outfit yet and want more ideas to consider, I do a lot of drawing in my free time; comic book style. I've been sketching since I was a little kid. Particularly superheroes....well, haha, more like exclusively. PM me if you want anything drawn up or whatevs =) )
