| Inlines of patrols and snow clearing there havent been much excitment scince before christmas when I had to clear up a rumor about having to take the ambulance to the hospital because of my back being shattered along with both my arms legs and my neck That was because of a drunk who wanted to get me to stop clearing snow at this paticular house where he claimed I was stealing his business Obviously if Im on a computer almost every evening theese injuries did not happen however that rumor did scare quite afew people including friends on facebook and people who I ran into at the stores after I was done the shoveling job
What really happened was that he made a grab for my shovel and tried to take it away from me while claiming that it was his However there isnt any other shovel like mine sold in town at all as mine is a really heavy shovel and the stores refuse to have them brought up and they continue to see cheap plastic and aluminum shovels that break easily at extremely high prices The worst this idiot did to me was shove me into the side of a truck which was parked at the bottom of the wheelchair ramp after he had managed to pull me down the steps while swearing in my face and calling me a bitch
The lady then called the cops durring the fight after she saw him shove me up against the window and try to throw me through it After he was done swearing at me I said that it wasnt very lady-like to use such language like that Not that he was much of a lady to begin with then he ran off just as the police showed up |

| I voted: -Silently revel in it with my favorite beverage(s) ShowStopper Coffee! -"Spend Time" with my significant other. ShowStopper -Blog about it ASAP Only if I felt it was something either worth talking about, or interesting enough to where I would WANT to remember it. -Wash my supersuit. Of course. -Go to a cool site like the Heroes Network to wind down. YEAHYEAHYEAH!!!!! I didn't vote these options: -Stitch my wounds. I'm Tothian! I'm not allowed to bleed! -Go directly to bed. I'm full of adreniline and so alert that I'm unable to go to sleep right away, I'll need to wind down first. -Watch a TV Show or superhero-related movie. I'm more likely to want to do that before a patrol. | |

| I always feel tired, but there's too much adrenaline to go right to sleep, regardless. |

| Exactly. It is good to have ways to wind down. The Heroes Network is another way to redirect that focus to the mental stimulation which helps promote the thought process which helps contribute to interesting conversations, reading and learning things, as well as talking with others like ourselves.
Of course it can depend on how the patrol went, too. I remember on a mission in another state a few years ago, we were all constantly doing something, and with that level of excitement and adrenaline, we had all only slept like 3 or 4 hours a night.
But, in the Marines, we were always busy and there was that constant type of stress we always felt. Most of the days during the week, we'd be busy, and even on a full night of sleep, we'd still be tired when waking up. And if there was ever a weekend when we weren't busy and had free time, we would be able to sleep all night and all day.
And of course, sometimes there are times we can feel restless from physical and mental inactivity that we can also be unable to rest easily, and also times that such inactivity comes with a calmness that does help us rest easier. | |
