The Gym You have to pay the entrance fee plus pay for the classes rental of the equipment and know how to use the equipment Some equipment and classes are restricted so that children cant be anywhere near them You also have to wear certain types of clothes and shoes in the gym

The Playground Free to use You learned how to use it at an early age and grew up with it You can wear basically anything you want there and its free for the whole family to use

I chose fitness center. The workout equipment is good, sometimes I like to watch the tv's if I'm using the tredmills - while also listening to music, I like to swim after a workout, and also use the jacuzee, and also after that, use the sauna and steam room.

They also have protein bars and muscle milk there too in the snack bar.

Also I like to challenge the teenagers who go there to hang around while smoking and drinking to see if any of them can get me in a game of tag and last longer than me without running out of breath

I dont need booze to demostrate the effects of being drunk when there is a good size tire swing to get dizzy on and I did make another person really sick once by challenging him to a full 1 minute while spinning realy fast He lasted maybe 5 seconds before we all saw the remains of his last 4 meals pouring out while I was still able to walk on the skipping rope in a straight line

Its always funny to see the pets climbing up on the platforms and slidding down the slides

Back about 5 years ago I used the playgrounds to take Puppy and Lemming my pet rats for a walk

I would have them sit on the swing set and very gently push the swing abit The rats did follow me down the slides and they tried to climb back up again to get to me when I called to them

Even a year after they were gone I would bring out the latest of my pets I had at the time My pet mouse named Tribble He loved to perform the highwire act walking on the skipping ropes I bought for him I would tie the rope to one post and the other end of the rope to another post just so he could walk across

Also Why use a swimming pool inside a building full of chemicals when people up here have the lakes and creeks to swim in

Well in the military we had a playground to play... or... train on, called the Obstacle Course, and another one was called the Confidence Course. So those are good for endurance and such.

The military also has gyms to focus on strength and such.

So a balance of both could be good. The playground can be good if you want to work on endurance. The gym is good for what you want to focus on, be it endurance or strength. They have the weights and stuff and also the treadmill and pool.

The pools are in one way better than natural bodies of water because they are clear and there is no worry of other sharks or alligators attacking. Although at beaches, the resistance of waves makes that more fun and gives it a better workout.

There are no sharks or aligators around here Tothian and besides the ocean itself is too polluted to swim in because of all the ships traveling in and out of the bay so we use the lakes Sharks swim in salt water and the only shark you may find is much further north of here called the Greenland Shark Its alot smaller than the great white and is not known for attacking people If we were to swim out in the ocean our most dangerous predator would be a Polarbear swimming under the water or the Orcas if we got too close to them as they can very easily mistake a person for a seal ad both Polarbears and orcas eat seals

The lakes we swim in are closer to town or are in town such as Dead Dog Lake which is located on the Road To Nowhere Half way to the village of Apex or Caribou lake which is behind Hospital Hill however that lake is now extremely poluuted thanks to the developers who built the subdivision up there leaving the garbage including leftover building materials such as abestos old lumber with rusted nails and broken plexiglass all over the lake My favorite lake to swim in is the one out at Syllvia Grinnell Park All you have to worry about out there is the mosqitoes buzzing around you while you are out there basking in the sun or swimming around with the krill and shrimp that get washed up durring the high tide There is also the odd time that you might find a fish such as the arctic char swimming around in that lake and they are very popular to eat
